Can't Always Judge A Book...

Isn't Magnum the Cat a cutie? I'm really getting along with her, and - I know - some of you have been saying I should watch her and maybe not trust her because she's a cat, but you know what? I think I am getting to like her because she's the only other thing with four legs around here. I've always had other dogs around me, Yogi and Boo Boo, so maybe she reminds me of them in a way. But I'm still careful around her! She's got sharp nails!

This Blogging Is Tough Work!

Wow. I'm tired. I guess blogging is a little more work than I thought. I was up late last night watching TV with George the Human and trying to think of something to blog about. It wore me out! All I need is a good night sleep for a couple nights and I'll be back in tip top shape! Oh, and George the Human suggested I blog about blogging which I thought was silly.

Elvis I Ain't.

Okay, here's a rare treat for all of you in internet land. This is a photo of me singing to Brenda the Human. She put something called a DVD on that has music on it that I just can't help but want to sing to. It's so much fun to see George the Human cover his ears while Brenda the Human just loves the sound of my voice. Magnum the Cat I think is deaf because she doesn't seem to notice when I'm singing and when I'm not.

Does She Have Wings...Or What?

The other night I was sniffing around the kitchen thinking maybe George the Human may have dropped something on the floor I could eat when I heard a strange sound. I tried to find it and eventually discovered Magnum the Cat sitting high above me. I have no idea how she got there, but she sure seemed happy watching me from there!

That's Using My Head!

That George the Human...he just cracks me up sometimes. He thought I'd like to see what the top of my head looks like so he took this shot of me. I have to admit, I kind of like the look of the spots on my head. Did you know I have them ALL OVER ME? That's probably why the Humans have so much trouble finding me when I'm in the yard. I must blend in with everything out there!

High As A Kite!

Brenda the Human bought Magnum the Cat a new bed the other day and all she did was just sniff at it, so George the Human rubbed some catnip on it. Well, it took only a few moments and Magnum was rolling all over the new bed and licking up as much of the catnip she could find. It was funny. I found it quite amusing, actually.

What Goes Around...Comes Around.

George The Human tells me that Magnum sitting in the back porch window is nothing new. I've only just noticed her doing it lately. He says she used to always sit there...before a bunch of dogs moved in! Now that she and I are getting along, she's starting to do things she used to do, although they seem like new things to me. That cat is strange!

Sometimes I Really Miss Her!

Brenda the Human was away for a few days and I really missed her. I don't think she even told me she was going. She may have, but I don't remember the conversation because I'm sure I would have tried to get her to take me with her. Anyway, I was really glad to see her the other day and never let her out of my sight the rest of the day!

I've Been A Good Boy.

Ha-ha-ha! George The Human fooled me here. He was giving me a treat when he took this photo on that little black thing he talks into every now and then. It did take a pretty good picture of me, I must say! So this is me looking for a treat...which, by the way, he did eventually give me!

New Hiding Places

Now that Magnum the Cat and I are getting along, she spends a lot more time downstairs with the rest of us. It also means she's finding more and more places to sit and watch everything going on. This is Magnum sitting on the edge of the kitchen table watching what's going on in the livingroom. I couldn't get up there if I tried. Very sneaky, indeed!

Hmmmmm

I'm starting to think there's a difference between when Magnum the Cat is playing with me and when she's just playing around with me. Just when the games get interesting she'll jump up somewhere high where I can't get at her and there she'll sit just looking at me. It's not fair, but then again, she's a cat.

Car Rides Wear Me Out.

I know, it may be hard to believe, but as much as I like car rides...they wear me out. Sometimes I'm sluggish for a couple days after an extremely long car ride. The Humans know to give me breaks, let me drink some water or have a snack on a very long ride, but still I'm tired when I get home. I guess that's one of the side effects of having so much fun!

Car Ride! Yippee!

The Humans take me on car rides usually when the weather is cooler. It's a good thing as I get hot pretty quick! Here's a car ride when both Humans came, which means I end up in the back seat. I don't mind, but it's more fun when I get to sit up front.

Is It Hoover Or Hover?

I find that if I do this enough I get treats falling in my direction! It's a pretty cool trick I taught myself and it's really simple. You just follow a Human around when they have food in their hands. You stay close and open your mouth. Sooner or later the Human will start throwing food your way! Try it! You'll like it!

Who You Calling A Heel?

Brenda the Human and I went for a stroll a few weeks ago on the Trans Canada Trail near where we live. It was a great day full of new sights and new things to smell. I really enjoyed it!
