I Ain't No Backseat Driver.

Usually when I go for a car ride with Brenda The Human I secretly hope the other Human doesn't come because it means I get to sit up front, where I can see all the action. It's the best seat in the car!

What?

George The Human says this is a bird. I chase birds out of the yard and off the fence all the time and have never seen one like this! Wow, I need to get out a little more.

I'm A Big Suck Sometimes

I know The Humans spend most of the day in that office of theirs I find so boring, so when they get home I'm pretty excited. Brenda The Human always comes home long before the other Human. As you can tell, I really am glad to see her when she gets home!

She's Still In Our Hearts

Although it's been a few months since Yogi Bear left us, The Humans still talk about her and George The Human keeps finding great photos of her. Here's one taken on January 1, 2008 during a play day in the yard. I still catch a whiff of her scent every now and then when I'm in the yard so I keep remembering her, too!

Spots and Squares...Squares and Spots!

Ha-Ha-Ha! I remember this! It was when we went to the Big City in May and the ride just wore me out. I had to take a rest. George The Human thought it was funny that I have spots all over me and I'm laying on a floor made up of squares. For a minute there I thought I was invisible!

We All Miss Her!

We all still miss Yogi so very much. The other day George The Human was going through some files on his computer and found this shot of Yogi he took this past January. He had to distract her with treats and put the camera on the floor for this eye-level picture of her. She looks like she was having fun!

Here Kitty, Kitty!

That's Magnum The Cat. She and I are starting to get to know each other pretty good. She's a couple years older than I apparently and we are sharing stories with each other these days. I think the two of us can maybe become pretty close friends.

Update! Update!

I'm feeling pretty good these days. The lumps have all disappeared but I'm on some pills right now that make me very, very thirsty so I drink a lot of water daily. It also makes me pee a lot, but The Humans say I'll be off of them in a few weeks, so they don't seem too concerned. I'm also getting along pretty good with Magnum The Cat. She's actually quite friendly!

No Biggie!

The big city dog doctor says I have something called penniculitis - an inflammation of the fat cells under my skin. It's treatable in a number of ways, so The Humans seem happy about that. I heard Brenda The Human tell George The Human that sometimes it develops from stress. I've been trying to tell them I still miss Yogi. I guess they don't quite understand me yet.

When You Gotta Go...You Gotta Go!

Did you know there are places on the side of the road designed so that you can use them if you need a rest? I had no idea. We found one on the way home from the Canada Day Celebration and I needed to use it. I never even noticed the trees until I was finished!

Ahhhhhhhhh!

Brenda The Human and I spend a lot of time together these days. We still haven't heard from the big city dog doctor about my latest tests, but Brenda The Human told George The Human last night that she's noticed my bumps are getting smaller!

Canada Day - Part 2

All the Humans in the park were wearing red and white, some had buttons, stickers, flags and other stuff with 'Canada' written on it so my Humans tried to make me fit in. It was a fun day! All the other Humans I met were friendly. I didn't see any other dogs but it just occurred to me maybe dogs weren't allowed in that park...however, no one seemed to mind seeing me there!

Canada Day - Part 1

The Humans took me to something called a Canada Day celebration. There I got to see a lot of new people (I barked at a lot of them) and even got to share breakfast with Brenda The Human! The snacks were pretty tasty!
